If I were a gambling man, I think I’d bet on Chile being the single country that always delivers when it comes to metal. In the last 10 years or so, Chile has been the spawning point of some of the greatest modern metal acts, including these guys, CRITICAL DEFIANCE. Coming off not one, but two stellar thrash records, CRITICAL DEFIANCE returns with their charming third effort: The Search Won’t Fall... Packed full of riffs, sinister melodies, destructive drumming, explosive bass, and absolutely scorching vocals, this record will leave you in a cold sweat all while begging for more. It’s ferocious, technical, and even tranquil at times, bridging the gap in thrash between speed and melody – especially on tracks like “The Blind Divine” and “Margarita.” If you need to get some anger out, I wouldn’t dissuade you from throwing this on. Check it out!
